All instructors are highly qualified with tremendous experience in a variety of activities and have their own style of teaching, making each one an individual personality with plenty to offer and motivate you. The gym instructors are able to teach members by designing workout programmes best suited for their personalised needs, and have proof of excellent results. Numerous courses throughout the year help to educate the unsure about fitness and nutrition and give a positive start to a healthier lifestyle. All our staff are First Aid qualified, so you're in safe hands! Stav Andreas-Carter ~ A Bachelor in Education Graduate and qualified Gym and Studio Instructor, is responsible for the running of the club as well as teaching a variety of classes. If you haven't had the pleasure of one of Stav's classes, don't listen to what the members say, she doesn't make you feel guilty if you don't work hard enough, because Stav says you get out what you put in. Simple routines, but effective. Qualified as a PowerChi Yoga, BodyPump, Body Combat, Boxecrise, Fitness Pilates and Swiss Ball Instructor. Jerry Carter ~ Co Director. Sue Allen ~ Nutty as a fruitcake, loud (with or without a mike), fun-loving dancer. She is a senior studio and Gym Instructor. Responsible for the co-ordination of Youth and Adult Dance with-in the studio. Sue is also a fully qualified Dance teacher, with her own private Dancing School. Rencently qualified as a PowerChi Yoga, BodyPump and Bodycombat Instructor. Stuart Glister ~ A Senior Gym Instructor with a background in Martial Arts. He will keep you well inducted and supervised in the gym. He also specialises in teaching Box Fit Aerobics, Mind & Body Classes and is currently teaching Yoga, Combat Challenge andLegs Bums and Tums Alan Butler~ Gym Instructor with Personal Training qualifications. Alan also has a background in Karate. He has recently qualified as an exercise to music instructor. Alan is also our qualified Massage Therapist. He will keep you certainly help you to relax and de-stress. Hazel Maxwell ~ Known to us as 'Aze'. A Senior Instructor who has been part of the team for many years, a qualified Gym Instructor and a 3rd Dan Black belt in karate; is currently Sensei for our Youth/Adult Karate Club and qualified combat instructor. Michelle Farnworth~ Michelle is a highly qualified gym and studio instructor and currently teaches our Sunday morning Step and Abs Class. Her choreography is easy to follow, therefore all levels welcome. Chris Roebuck ~ Calls himself a big girls blouse and only wears black! Has developed his own unique style of yoga calling it Yoga Fusion. Has a PhD and an extensive background in ballet and contemporary dance. Chris also teaches Step and is a versatile cover instructor for the Studio programme. Jo Jones ~ Reception/ Administration. Jo will look after all your customer services and membership enquiries.
