instructors are highly qualified with tremendous experience in a variety
diciplines and have their own style of teaching, making each one an
individual personality with plenty to offer and motivate you. The gym
instructors are able to educate members by designing workout programmes
best suited for their personalised needs, and have proof of excellent
results. Numerous courses throughout the year help to further educate
the unsure about fitness and nutrition and give a positive start to
a healthier lifestyle. All our staff are First Aid qualified, so you're
in safe hands!
Stav Andreas-Carter
~ A Bachelor in Education Graduate and qualified Gym and Studio Instructor,
is responsible for the running of the club as well as teaching a variety
of classes. If you haven't had the pleasure of one of Stav's classes,
don't listen to what the members say, she doesn't make you feel guilty
if you don't work hard enough, because Stav says "you get out what
you put in". Simple routines, but effective. Qualified as a PowerChi
Yoga, BodyPump, Body Combat, Boxecrise, Fitness Pilates, Swiss Ball, Zumba, Power Plate and
kettlebell Instructor and is an Intashape consultant. Has a background
in educationional dance and a former PE teacher/Advisor for 15 years.
Jerry Carter
~ Co Director.
Sue Allen
~ Nuttty as a fruitcake.Sue is vivacious (with or without a mike), fun-loving
dancer. She is a senior studio and Gym Instructor. Responsible for the
co-ordination of Youth and Adult Dance with-in the studio. Sue is BA
(Hons) Musical Threatre trained, also a fully qualified Dance teacher
A.I.D.T.A, with her own private Dancing School. PowerChi Yoga, Pilates
Instructor, Swiss Ball, Power PLate,Zumba, BodyPump and Bodycombat Instructor.
YMCA/RSA Exercise to Music including step, conditioning and circuit
programmes. Advanced Gym Instructor.
Stuart Glister
~ A Senior Gym Instructor with a background in Martial Arts. He will
keep you well inducted and supervised in the gym. He also specialises
in teaching Box Fit Aerobics, Mind & Body Classes and is currently
teaching Yoga, Combat Challenge andLegs Bums and Tums and Tai chi short
form.
Alan Butler
~ Gym Instructor with Personal Training qualifications. Alan also has
a background in Karate. He has recently qualified as an exercise to
music instructor. Alan is also our qualified Massage Therapist. He will
keep you motivated, certainly help you to relax and de-stress. Now doing
WBV training and is an Intashape consultant and trained in kettlebell and Power Plate.
Hazel Maxwell
~ Known to us as 'Aze'. A Senior Instructor who has been part of the
team for many years, a qualified Gym Instructor and a 5th Dan Black
belt in karate; is currently Sensei for our Youth/Adult Karate Club
and qualified combat instructor and an Intashape consultant and trained
in kettlebell and Power PLate.
Michelle Amos
~ Michelle is a highly qualified freelance gym and studio instructor
and currently teaches our Saturday morning Step and Abs & Zumba Classes. Her choreography
is easy to follow, therefore all levels welcome to this popular session.
Jo Jones
~ Reception/ Administration. Jo will look after all your customer services
and membership enquiries.

Freyja Maxwell - Youngest of our instructors. Qualified level two Gym instructor and trained in Power Plate.
