Some people don't like eating breakfast. There's not enough time, I'm not hungry, it's too early. But breakfast is a very important meal and one that everyone should fit into their lifestyle. A proper breakfast will set you up for the day, adding that little bit extra into your fitness programme. Your body would have been fasting while you sleep, a breakfast is required to replenish your body's glucose levels which would have dropped to a low point. Your body needs nourishment in the morning to provide fuel to function.

  • This fuel provides energy to work efficiently
  • Missing breakfast can stress the body
  • Missing breakfast can cause fatigue, irritability and delayed reaction
  • You may feel light headed & lethargic if you miss breakfast
  • Skipping breakfast leads to over eating later, to top up the bodies energy bank
  • Never miss breakfast, if you are on a diet, most people tend to eat more during the day if breakfast is missed, and this is more likely to cause weight gain than weight loss.
